The weather was beautiful, sunny and warm with a slight breeze, perfect park weather. This was a special visit to the park, it was the FIRST visit to the park for Hayden. At seven months old he is now sitting, crawling (kind of), pulling up, and more mobile then he has ever been. Until now he as used me as his own personal jungle gym of sorts, crawling over my legs while we play on the floor. We decided today would be the day to graduate from daddy jungle gym to real jungle gym. Well at least we would try it out for a bit. He still has several more years on daddy before going total legit.
We decided to drive down to Daniel Island and try our luck on some swings and slides. The park was near empty, perfect for a first timer. Swings were first on the list.
Are guys sure about this?
Okay guys, seriously is this safe?
Okay this is pretty cool.
Soooo relaxing.
Okay guys this isn't funny, get me down from here.
Overall the day was a huge success, swings and slides oh my! The weather really was perfect and the trip went off without a hitch. The only down side was Hayden being really sleepy. He about fell asleep on the swings and he wasn't as active as his normal crazy self.
We are looking forward to many many more days in the park!

Anna's Birthday
So last weekend we attended our friend's 3rd birthday party. Her name is Anna and she is as cute as could be.
This is the first time I have shot in RAW format. I haven't touched the photos up yet so check back later for some updated shots. So far I really like shooting in RAW, the image that you get is great and the options on editing 'after the fact' is amazing.

Easter
We didn't have any plans this year for Easter and Hayden wasn't feeling too well. He was trying to get over a double ear infection that made the doctor literally go "Wow". So my brother and his wife invited us over for dinner with him and his in-laws. We had a great time. Check out the pictures in the slide show.

So I am a little behind, but that is okay. I just wanted to post some cute pictures of my boy wearing his green!
Here he is with his aunt and uncle enjoying lunch at Poe's on Sullivan's Island.
First time eating applesauce!
Such a big beautiful smile.
Ahhhhhh! Daddy is haul'n...
That is it for now. Please stay tuned for more updates.

Meatballs (Turkey)
We found a unique recipe for meatballs online and decided to try them out, but using ground turkey instead. I would have called them turkey balls but that just sounds bad.
Here they are sitting in the freezer. The mixture contains ground turkey, diced onion, oats, milk, salt, and pepper. I used a small cookie dough scoop, but you could use your hands.
Now roll the balls in some flour and place back on the sheet. I won't go into detail on how to do this, I would hope that you could figure it out by yourself.
Now cook them quickly on 2 side in a skillet with a small amount of oil. You just want to slightly brown them, don't cook them through.
After they are brown place them into a casserole dish for sauce'n and bake'n.
The sauce is made of ketchup, diced onion, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire, and a dash of hot sauce.
Pour the sauce on and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
Now enjoy!
